Phoenix International Incorporated is a Maryland 501(c)(3) charitable organization on a mission to develop and implement an ecosystem where youth — who have been intentionally marginalized and deprioritized due to location, race, or socioeconomic standing — gain access to critically needed arts, culture, and educational experiences that challenge and prepare them to take stake in the global economy.

Since 2018, Phoenix International has provided direct-service programming grounded within a critical arts lens for youth in elementary through high school across the Southern Maryland region. Our impact model is three-pronged: no-to-low-cost, innovative educational models including free public charter schools; out-of-school youth and community programming; and sector development through professional development collaboratives and resource-sharing.

Today, our programs collectively reach over 1000 youth and adults annually across Charles, St. Mary's, and Calvert Counties.
